Product license amendment
It is the responsibility of the product license holder to ensure that the information contained therein is up to date and accurately reflects the product being sold. PSN/NHP SOLUTIONS offers a post-licensing amendment service that ensures your compliance with current regulations.
Market status
The license status indicates whether the registered product is on the market or not. All existing and newly issued licenses have a “not on the market” status by default. Currently, changing the status when the product is on the market is optional. PSN/NHP SOLUTIONS offers a service to change the status on an ad hoc or scheduled basis, depending on your needs.
License status
The license status indicates whether a license is active, discontinued, stop sale, cancelled, or suspended. To be authorized to sell a natural health product in Canada, you must ensure that the status is “Active.” PSN/NHP SOLUTIONS helps you make the right decision regarding your license status based on your needs and plans for the product.
Information on the license
PSN/NHP SOLUTIONS offers a comprehensive service for making changes to your active product licenses, whether those changes relate to the company (company address, senior management, contact persons) or the product. When our clients request product-related amendments, we review all license information (license status, license status, contacts, site information, brand name, claims, medicinal and non-medicinal ingredients, recommended dosage, duration of use, risks, forms for animal-derived tissues, label text updates, and specification updates) to ensure that the license complies with current regulations. We can also respond to a request for changes made by Health Canada.
Support
PSN/NHP SOLUTIONS offers support services if you prefer to complete the application yourself, whether it involves changing the status, condition, or any section of the amendment and notification form (Business Address, Senior Officer, Contact Persons, Contacts, Site Information, Brand Name, Claims, Medicinal and Non-Medicinal Ingredients, Recommended Dosage, Duration of Use, Risks, Forms for Animal-Derived Tissues, Label Text Update, Specification Update). We can also assist you with a change request issued by Health Canada.
